Free Theatre of Minsk: Onstage Resistance

cafebabel.com reports that an "independent theatre company uses black humour and underground performances to protest against 'Europe's last dictatorship.'"

I find it amazing that this group brings 17 professional actors and dramatists together, informs their audience by text messages and blog posts, and meets in apartments, bars, or in the forest. Think Philly Fringe Festival, but go way off the radar and throw in a palette for the consciously subversive.
