Via email:

Attention Local Filmmakers!

3rd Annual

Delaware Valley Film Festival

Entries Wanted

The 2007 Delaware Valley Film Festival will be held November 2, 3 and 4. The festival will be held at The Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Avenue, Hatboro, PA 19040.

Entries are now being accepted. Projects must be filmed in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey or Maryland, with production costs not exceeding $15,000. All entries are ONLY $15 per submission regardless of length. Submissions must be in a DVD format. All submissions must be postmarked by August 31, 2007.

The goal of the film festival is to provide a platform for local filmmakers to display their projects in a public forum. Films will be placed in the following categories: shorts, featurettes and features. Each entry will be selected for screening by a panel of judges based on the entertainment value, technical quality and creativity of the project.

The films selected for screening will be announced October 1, 2007 on the festival’s web site http://www.geocities.com/delawarevalleyfilmfestival/DVFF.html. Check the web site for full details about the festival and how to submit films, or contact the festival at delvalfilmfest@verizon.net.

I know this is a theater blog, but the festival will be held at a local community theater, The Village Players of Hatboro.
